Yes, there were a few minor things that came up. Mitchell Robinson’s right pinkie. Jalen Brunson’s left wrist. OG Anunoby’s right hamstring. But all were minor, and didn’t negatively impact the Knicks during their magical spring run to the Canyon of Heroes.
But let’s not forget, some of this was by design. They were rested. Head coach Mike Brown relied heavily on his bench. He had certain players sit out the back end of back-to-backs. He gave guys extra rest. The only regular to appear in every game was Mikal Bridges, and part of that was to prolong his consecutive games streak that is now at 638, the longest of any active player in the league.
