Man crashes into front gate of Jay-Z and Beyonce’s East Hampton mansion

Add Page Six on Google It’s a hard knock life! (Gate-o anthem).

A 63-year-old man smashed through the gates of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s estate in East Hampton this week, with cops telling us the man appeared to be “confused.”

According to the police report the Bronx-based man was “driving at a high rate of speed up the driveway,” and failed “to stop at the closed mechanical driveway gates,” which caused “significant damage.”

The man was placed under arrest and taken to Stoney Brook Hospital for pain. The vehicle was impounded and officers completed a criminal trespass and criminal mischief affidavit.

While the investigation is still ongoing, it does not immediately appear the man meant the famous couple any harm.

Responding officer Detective/Sergeant Jennifer Dunn tells Page Six that the man “has no criminal history and he seemed confused at the scene and after the arrest. He did not make any threats or mention names of the residents. It could just be chance he picked that house if he was having a medical issue.”

Detective/Sergeant Dunn tells us that he had stopped at another home down the road and spoken with the owner, asking for a woman by name. When he was told she did not live there, he continued on, though the home owner told officer’s “he seemed confused.”

Dunne tells us that while they are still investigating, there were “no weapons found, no notes found, no direct threats made and no direct mention of residents of the house so we are not sure he even knew who lived in that house at this point.”

Reps for Jay-Z and Beyonce did not return request for comment.

East Hampton Star was the first to report the news.

The power pair purchased the seven-bed, seven-and-a-half bath mansion in 2017 for $26 million.

Last weekend, Jay-Z had a three-day Yankee Stadium residency with the last night being marred by hours-long delays due to hordes of fans breaking through security. However, fans still loved the show which brought out a number of guests including Beyonce and their daughter Blue Ivy, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Eminem, Teyana Taylor and more.
