Exes Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff risk awkward run-in at Taylor Swift’s wedding festivities

Add Page Six on Google Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff are risking an awkward run-in as they’re both attending Taylor Swift’s star-studded wedding festivities.

The exes, who dated from 2012 to 2017, were both spotted arriving to Madison Square Garden Thursday evening for the pop star’s rehearsal dinner ahead of her wedding to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

In a footage captured by People, Dunham is seen pulling up to the venue in a black SUV while photographers snapped Antonoff on the street on his way to the event.

View this post on Instagram Dunham is a longtime pal of Swift’s and appeared in her celeb-packed “Bad Blood” music video in 2015 while Antonoff is a regular collaborator of Swift’s, having worked together on numerous projects.

The “Girls” creator and star revealed in her 2026 memoir “Famesick” that she cheated on the music producer and Bleachers lead singer with an old flame from her childhood while they were together.

Dunham explained how she turned to her middle school boyfriend Nick during a low point toward the tail-end of her and Antonoff’s relationship as she was reeling from a recent hysterectomy.

The affair went on for months, Dunham explained, as it became a respite from her medical issues though she noted it “wasn’t a sexual pleasure really.”

When Antonoff came home after being on tour, Dunham recalled feeling they needed to break up, with her recalling how they both cried and told each other they were each other’s first great love.

Both have since moved on, with Dunham marrying musician Luis Felber in September 2021 and Antonoff marrying actress Margaret Qualley in August 2023.

The former couple’s migration to the iconic NYC arena came after Swift herself was spotted arriving in her SUV hours before the rehearsal was slated to begin.

Swift and Kelce, both 36, are expected to host an estimated 100 guests at MSG’s Infosys Theater from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. ET, Page Six previously reported.

More than 1,000 guests are slated to celebrate Swift and Kelce’s wedding Friday at the Garden, with doors opening at 3:30 p.m. ET and a cocktail hour at 4 p.m. ET.

The ceremony is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. ET and the reception will take place from 6:30 p.m. ET into the early hours the following morning, ending around 2 a.m. ET.

Other celebrities expected to attend the wedding of the year include Karlie Kloss, Selena Gomez, Zoë Kravitz, the Haim sisters, Ed Sheeran, Suki Waterhouse and Gigi Hadid.

Guests will enjoy performances by Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks and country superstar Tim McGraw, Page Six previously reported.

The latest on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding

While a significant portion of the celebrity world is gathering for Swift and Kelce’s nuptials, several sources told Page Six Thursday the couple is already married.

A Nashville-based insider told us the pair “already got legally married” in front of a small group of people while another claimed there was a rumor the duo tied the knot recently in Tennessee, where Swift grew up as a teenager.

The A-list couple got engaged in August 2025 after two years together.
