Turai Shmuel-Aharon Ash served in the Israel Defense Forces. Shmuel-Aharon served with the Infantry. Shmuel-Aharon served in the War of Independence. Shmuel-Aharon was 17 years old.
בן טובה-גיטל ושמעון, נולד ביום כ"ט בשבט תר"ץ (27.2.1930). סיים בית-ספר עממי "מזרחי", למד מסגרות והתפרנס מיגיע כפיו. היה מלא מרץ ואהוב על חבריו. חש תמיד לעזרת הזולת. השתתף, כמתנדב, בהגנה על שכונת התקווה. ביום י"ב באדר א' תש"ח (22.2.1948), תקפו האנגלים והערבים את רחוב זרח ברנט בגבול תל-אביב-יפו. שמואל ראה את חברו נפצע וחש להצילו. בדרך פגע בו צרור-כדורים אנגלי ונפל. המלים האחרונות של שמואל בן ה18- היו: "טוב למות בעד המולדת..." שמואל הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בנחלת יצחק.
