בן שושנה (רוזה) ואהרון, נולד בשנת 1922 בדמשק, בירת סוריה. בהיותו בן שלוש נתייתם מאביו ואחרי שסיים את בית-הספר היסודי יצא לעבוד והיה משען יחיד לאמו. בשנת 1942 עבר את גבול הצפון בעזרת בחורי הפלמ"ח. בארץ עבד כברזלן (מכופף ברזל) בבניין ובעבודות אחרות והיה שולח מכספו לאמו. שנתיים שירת כנוטר במשק, אחר-כך עבר לפלמ"ח והיה מהמבוגרים המעטים בין בני ה18- וה19-. השתתף עימהם באימונים, בעבודה ובמסעות ונדבק בהתלהבות-העלומים שלהם, וכפי המשוער תרם את חלקו בהעברת מעפילים דרך גבול הצפון, בנתיבות שהכיר מניסיונו הוא. שאיפתו היתה להעלות את אמו אל המולדת המשוחררת, ובינתיים השתדל לשמור על הקשר עימה באמצעות קרוביו שבארץ. בחורף תש"ח, בפרוץ מלחמת-העצמאות, צורף עם גדודו לחטיבת "הראל", היה משוייך לחיל הרגלים והשריון ושירת בליווי שיירות בדרך לירושלים. בעת מבצע "הראל" בהתקפת האויב על המאסף של אחת השיירות נפל ביום י"א בניסן תש"ח (20.4.1948). הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בקרית ענבים.
