Turai Nisim Maatuk served in the Israel Defense Forces. Nisim served with the Infantry. Nisim served in the Six-Day War. Nisim was 22 years old.

What Happened

בן נעימה ועובדיה. נולד ביום ב' באייר תש"ה (15.4.1945) בעיר קלעת-סאלח אשר בעירק. המשפחה עלתה לארץ בשנת 1950. ניסים סיים את לימודיו בבית-הספר היסודי "בית יעקב" בשכונת מוסררה בירושלים. עסק בעבודות טפסנות וכל מיני עבודות הקשורות לבניין. היה עוזר לאביו בפרנסת המשפחה וכן היה מסור לכל בני הבית, דאג לאמו החולה וגם לאחותו הבכירה שנתאלמנה; כן היה סר אל אחיו שגרו בריחוק מקום. אהוב היה על כל בני- הבית וגם על החברה היה אהוד. היה אוהב להשקיע עצמו בקריאה. לפני שירותו הסדיר השתייך לגדנ"ע עד שגויס לצה"ל באוגוסט 1962 ושירת בחיל-האויר. בגמרו את שירותו הסדיר היה נקרא מדי פעם למילואים. עמד להתארש כאשר תסתיים מלחמת ששת הימים אלא שנמצא בחיל-הרגלים המשורין והשתתף בה בפועל. נפל בקרב שנערך באבו-טור ביום השלישי לקרבות, הוא כ"ח באייר תשכ"ז (7.6.1967). הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית- הקברות הצבאי שעל הר-הרצל בירושלים. הפלוגה שבה שירת הוציאה ספר לזכר חבריה שנפלו במערכה - וניסים ביניהם.
