Turai Shaul-Yehoshua Shukrun served in the Israel Defense Forces. Shaul-Yehoshua served with the Armored Corps. Shaul-Yehoshua was 17 years old.
בן מאיר-שלמה ועישה. נולד ביום י"ג בתמוז תרצ"ב (17.7.1932) בעיר צפרו אשר במרוקו. למד בבית-ספר יסודי, אבל הוריו העניים לא יכלו להבטיח את קיומו במדינה שבה השפילו תנאי-הגלות את רוב היהודים והביאום למצב של עוני ופשיטת-יד. התמחה במלאכה והיה לצורף-זהב והצטיין בעבודתו. אך לאור המצב עלה בדעתו באחד הימים לעלות לארץ ולאט לאט התחילה המחשבה להעסיק אותו יומם ולילה. בעל יזמה היה והתגבר על כל המכשולים בשעת בריחתו ממרוקו, ארץ שבה נדרש ממנו כה הרבה וניתן לו כה מעט. בנסיונו הראשון נתפס על-ידי המשטרה, אך יחסם הרע הגדיל בלבו את שנאתו להם ולארצם ואהבת מולדתו החדשה גברה והלכה. בהיותו בעל אומץ-לב הצליח סוף סוף להגיע לארץ (בשנת 1949) ומייד לבואו התגייס לצה"ל כדי ללחום בעושקי-אחיו. נפל בעלות מכוניתו על מוקש ליד בית-גוברין ביום י"ט בתשרי תש"י (12.10.1949) והובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בנחלת-יצחק.
