בן רחל וברוך, נולד ביום כ"א בטבת תרפ"ב (21.1.1922) בירושלים ובה למד בבית-ספר יסודי. לאחר שהפסיק ללמוד עבד בבית- המטבחיים והיה קצב במקצועו. דויד היה עלם גבה-קומה ויפה- תואר, שערותיו זהובות ועיניו תכלת, בעל מידות נאות, עניו, רחמן ועוזר לזולת. היה מסור למשפחתו, לחבריו ולעמו. תם וישר ולא הלך בגדולות. במלחמת-העצמאות גויס לצבא ושירת בחטיבת ירושלים. וזמן-מה לפני נופלו התאמן במקלע והיה גא על כך. דויד נפל בגיזרת נוטר- דם בירושלים ביום כ"א באייר תש"ח (30.5.1948). בן 27 היה בנופלו. נקבר בשייח'-באדר א'. הניח אישה, בן ובת. ביום כ"ח באלול תש"י (10.9.1950) הועבר למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בהר- הרצל בירושלים.
