Segen Mishne Moshe Shamfan Poizner served in the Israel Defense Forces. Moshe served with the Golani Brigade. Moshe was 23 years old.

What Happened

בן פישל וחיה-רחל. נולד ביום א' באדר א' תרפ"ז (3.2.1927) בעיר שרפץ שבפולין. עלה לארץ בשנת 1935. אחרי סיימו את לימודיו בבית-הספר היסודי "תל-נורדוי" בתל-אביב התמחה במכונאות בבית-הספר על-שם מכס פיין. השתייך ל"הגנה" ושירת בתפקיד נוטר בתל-מונד עד מלחמת-הקוממיות. גויס לצה"ל בפברואר 1948 והשתתף בפעולות קרב שונות. אחרי קורס-קצינים המשיך את שירותו בצבא. ביום י"א בסיון תש"י (27.5.1950), בשעת מילוי תפקידו, נפל והובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בנחלת-יצחק. זכרו הועלה בספר "מתוכנו יצאו" על תלמידי בית-הספר היסודי "תל נורדוי" בתל-אביב, שהוציאו ההורים יחד עם הנהלת בית-הספר.
