בן צבי ופנינה. נולד ביום י"ט בתמוז תרפ"ח (6.7.1928) בירושלים. אחרי סיימו את לימודיו בבית-הספר "תחכמוני" המשיך מתוך שקידה בלימודיו בבית-הספר התיכון בבית-הכרם. פעיל היה ב"מכבי הצעיר" והשתייך ל"הגנה" באותם ימי-המרי וראשית מלחמת-הישוב לעצמאותו. בסיימו את לימודיו נחלץ לשורות-הפלמ"ח והשתתף במלחמת-הקוממיות כחבלן בחזית-הנגב; היה בין ראשוני-כובשיה של באר-שבע. כתום המלחמה נכנס לאוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים (לפקולטה למשפטים) אך מצה"ל לא פרש. הוא המשיך בצבא-הקבע, בחיל-האויר, בו סיים את בית-הספר לטיס. ולאחר זמן מועט הועלה לדרגת סגן. עד כה ועד כה סיים את לימודיו באוניברסיטה, אבל תעודתו כמוסמך למשפטים נמסרה לידי הוריו השכולים ביום י"ח באייר תשי"ד, כי חדשיים לפני-כן נפל בשעת מילוי תפקידו ביום כ' באדר ב' תשי"ד (25.3.1954) והובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי שעל הר-הרצל בירושלים. בשנת תשט"ו הוקמה ספריה על-שמו בבית-הספר "תחכמוני" וכן הוקדש לזכרו הספר "רצונך לדעת - בבקשה!" שהופיע בירושלים בשנת תשט"ו.
