Turai Avraham Cohen served in the Israel Defense Forces. Avraham served with the Infantry. Avraham was 17 years old.
בן משה ועזיזה. נולד ביום ז' באב תרצ"ז (15.7.1937) בבצרה שבעירק. סיים את לימודיו בארבע כיתות בבית-הספר היסודי של "כל ישראל חברים" בעיר-מולדתו ולאחר עלותו לארץ בשנת 1947 - והוא אז בן עשר - הוכנס מייד לחברת-הילדים בקיבוץ שדה-נחום; לאחר-מכן הועבר לחברת-הנוער במשק אלונים ונמצא שם עד גיוסו לצה"ל בדצמבר 1953. אהב לקרוא ספרות מקצועית, ובעיקר בחקלאות ובמכונאות, מתוך מגמה להתישב עם אמו בנגב אחרי סיימו את שירותו בצבא. נפל בשעת מילוי תפקידו ביום כ"ב באדר תשט"ו (16.3.1955) והובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי שעל הר-הרצל בירושלים.
