בן אנה ואוטו, נולד ביום כ"ב בשבט תרס"ז (6.2.1907) בעיר מינכן, גרמניה. לאחר שסיים את האוניברסיטאות במינכן ובברלין במקצועות המתמטיקה והכלכלה עלה לארץ מגרמניה בשנת 1936. מיד עם בואו ארצה הצטרף ל"הגנה". היה שקט ונעים-הליכות בחייו הפרטיים. ראובן השתתף במלחמת-העצמאות ובקרבות גילה אומץ-לב הראוי לציון. היה תושב ירושלים ועל הגנתה נפל באבו-טור ביום כ"ז באייר תש"ח (5.6.1948). נקבר בשייח'-באדר א'. ביום כ"ח באלול תש"י (10.9.1950) הועבר למנוחת-עולמים בבית- הקברות הצבאי בהר-הרצל בירושלים.
