Moshe "Monik" Tadmor Melnitzki
Rav Seren Moshe Tadmor Melnitzki served in the Israeli Air Force. Moshe served with the Ramat David Airbase. Moshe served in the Sinai Campaign. Moshe was 30 years old.
בן צבי ושיינה. נולד ביום ט' בטבת תרפ"ו (26.12.1925) בביאליסטוק שבפולין. סיים בית-ספר תיכון "תרבות". כן למד בקונסרבטוריון. כל בני-משפחתו ניספו במלחמת-העולם השניה על-ידי הנאצים ורק בידו עלה להתחמק. בהגיעו לאיטליה גויס לקורס-טיס על-ידי ה"הגנה" שבמקום, וכשבא לארץ, בדצמבר 1948, נכנס לחיל-האויר של צה"ל ושירת בו בדרגת רב-סרן כמפקד-טייסת. חיבר ספר-הדרכה בענייני מטוס מוסטנג. ביום כ"ו במרחשון תשי"ז (31.10.1956) נפל במערכת-סיני. הובא לקבורה בבית-הקברות הצבאי בקרית-שאול וביום ה' במרחשון תשי"ח (30.10.1957) הועבר למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בחיפה. הניח אשה, בת ובן.
