Turai Yosef Shiram served in the Israel Defense Forces. Yosef served with the Armored Corps. Yosef served in the War of Attrition. Yosef was 18 years old.
בן עזרא ורינה. נולד ביום י"ב באב תש"י (26.7.1950) בקיליס שבתורכיה. המשפחה עלתה לארץ עמו בשנת 1959 ויוסף אז בן תשע. הוא למד בבית-הספר היסודי "רש"י" שביפו ובהגיע מועד-גיוסו בנובמבר 1967 גויס לצה"ל והוצב לחיל-השריון. בשירותו הוכיח את עצמו כחייל למופת המבצע את כל המוטל עליו על הצד הטוב ביותר. אך באחד הימים, לפני שהספיק לשרת את מלוא שירות-החובה שלו, פגע פגז-מרגמה בבונקר שבו נמצא וכך מצא את מותו; זה היה ביום ט"ו באלול תשכ"ח (8.9.1968) בדיר סואר שליד תעלת-סואץ. הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בקרית שאול.
