בן יוסף ורחל. נולד ביום כ' בכסלו תרצ"א (10.12.1930) באלכסנדריה של מצרים. עלה לארץ וכעבור שנה בערך גויס לצה"ל. בפרוץ מערכת-סיני נקרא לדגל וביום כ"ז במרחשון תשי"ז (1.11.1956) נפל בקרב אבו-עגילה. הובא לקבורה בבית-הקברות הצבאי לשעת-חירום בשלח וביום כ"ח בתשרי תשי"ח (23.10.1957) הועבר למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי שעל הר-הרצל בירושלים. הניח אשה ושלושה ילדים; הילד השלישי, שנולד לאחר שאביו נפל, נקרא על-שם האב.
