Turai Avraham Valt served in the Israel Defense Forces. Avraham served with the Golani Brigade. Avraham was 18 years old.
בן שמואל וצפורה. נולד ביום כ"ב באייר תרצ"ב (28.5.1932) בעיר באקו שברומניה. סיים את לימודיו בבית-ספר יסודי בעירו. עלה לארץ בשנת 1948, בעיצומה של מלחמת-הקוממיות, וספינתם הוגלתה לקפריסין, שאליה גלה יחד עם שאר המעפילים. היה נגר לפי מקצועו. אחרי כמה חדשים של שהיית-המשפחה בקפריסין הגיעה לארץ והתישבה בכפר-סבא. עם בואו של אברהם החל בעבודה חקלאית ועבד גם בביצורים בסביבות ה"משולש". בעבודתו המשיך עד גיוסו לצה"ל במאי ;1950 אחריו התאום גויס יחד אתו ושניהם שירתו בחטיבה אחת. אברהם שירת רק למעלה מארבעה חדשים, עד יום ד' באלול תש"י (17.8.1950), כאשר נפל בשעת מילוי תפקידו בדרך לעין-חוסוב בנגב. הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בנחלת-יצחק.
