What Happened

בן חיים ואסתר. נולד ביום כ"ג בכסלו תרצ"ו (19.12.1935) בירושלים. אחרי שסיים את לימודיו בבית-ספר יסודי למד בבית-הספר המקצועי "שבח" ועם סיומו קיבל תעודת-אומן, אשר לפיה עבד כמכונאי מדופלם, וגילה עצמו כמוכשר בכל עבודה שעשה. היה חובב צילום ובעלי-חיים. לצה"ל גויס בדצמבר 1953. השתתף במערכת-סיני ומילא את חובתו בנאמנות ובמסירות. היה אמיץ בכל משימה. היה יוצא למילואים מדי פעם ובמלחמת ששת הימים, ביום ג' בסיון תשכ"ז (11.6.1967), פתח באש על מארב- האויב למרות היותו פצוע, הסתער עליו בחירוף-נפש - וכך נפל; זה היה בביר חסנה שבסיני. הניח אשה בהריון ושני בנים; השני היה למעלה משנתיים. הובא לקבורה בבית-הקברות הצבאי לשעת- חירום בבארי ולאחר זמן הועבר למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בקרית שאול. שמו הונצח בחוברת "חמישה שנפלו" של המועצה המקומית ערד.
