Turai Eitan Zilka served in the Israel Defense Forces. Eitan served with the Armored Corps. Eitan was 20 years old.
בן אליהו הכהן ועליזה. נולד ביום ט"ז בשבט תש"ו (18.1.1946) בעיר בצרה אשר בעירק. בשנת 1951 עלתה המשפחה לארץ ואיתן התחיל ללמוד בבית-ספר יסודי אשר בנס-ציונה. לאחר שסיים את לימודיו שם למד בבית-הספר התיכון המאוחד אשר ברחובות. הצטיין במשחק השחמט; התעניין בלימוד התנ"ך, והשתתף בחידון-התנ"ך המחוזי לנוער שנערך בראשון-לציון בשנת תשי"ח וזכה במקום החמישי בו. בשנים האחרונות לחייו התעניין במיוחד במשחק-הכדורגל ונימנה עם נבחרת "הפועל" בנס-ציונה. גם במתמטיקה ופיסיקה עניינו אותו והוא היה נוהג לתת שעורים פרטיים במתמטיקה. גויס לצה"ל בינואר 1965. מסור מאד היה לבני-משפחתו ודאג להם בהיותו בצבא. ממכתביו השונים, וביחוד מן האחרונים שבהם, אפשר לראות כי מצא סיפוק בתפקיד שמילא בצה"ל. אך בעוד הוא בשירות סדיר, ביום כ"ד בתשרי תשכ"ז (8.10.1966), נפל בשעת מילוי תפקידו והובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות בנס-ציונה.
