בן אסתר ופינחס, נולד בשנת 1921 בעיראק. בשנת 1932 עלה ארצה עם הוריו והמשפחה קבעה את מושבה בעיר העתיקה בירושלים. שם למד בתלמוד-תורה לספרדים. את לחמו מצא כסבל בתחנת "אגד" בירושלים. בימי המצור על ירושלים והתקפת הערבים על הרובע היהודי בעיר העתיקה היה בשורות המגינים. ביום י"ג באייר תש"ח 22.5.1948)) נפל חלל בעיר העתיקה ולמחרת היום הובא שם למנוחת-עולמים. שמו נחקק באנדרטה שהוקמה בבית העלמין הצבאי בהר-הרצל לזכר חללי הרובע היהודי ולזכר לוחמים שנפלו במערכה על ירושלים והובאו לקבורה בהר-הזיתים.
