בן אסתר ואהרן, נולד בשנת 1912 באיראן, ובשנת 1924 עלה ארצה עם בני משפחתו. עם בואו לארץ, למד בבית-ספר יסודי ואחר-כך עבד במספרה. כשגדל התיישב בשכונת התקווה בתל-אביב, פתח מספרה, נשא אישה ונולדו לו שני ילדים. במלחמת-העצמאות גויס לשירות בחי"ם ושירת בחטיבת "קריתי". במהלך מבצע "דני" השתלטו כוחותינו גם על אזור מודיעין ועם כניסת ההפוגה השנייה לתוקפה נתפסו משלטים באזור, אחד מהם משלט 219. הגיזרה היתה רגועה ובמשלט החזיק כוח חי"ם מחטיבת "קריתי". ביום 24.9.1948 תקפו ערבים מקומיים את המשלט ובסיוע הלגיון, במפתיע, ותוך הפרת ההפוגה. מגיני המשלט הופתעו ונאלצו לסגת לנוכח עדיפות האויב, ורבים נפגעו בנסיגה הקשה. למחרת תקפו כוחותינו נגד וכבשו את המשלט. בקרב זה נפל ביום כ"א באלול תש"ח (24.9.1948) וביום כ"ב באלול תש"ח (26.9.1948) הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית- הקברות הצבאי בנחלת יצחק.
