בן אסתר ויעקב, נולד בשנת תרע"ג (1913) ועלה לארץ-ישראל בשנת תרצ"ה. בתקופת מלחמת-העצמאות גויס לצה"ל הוצב בחטיבה 7 בגדוד 71. ונפל בתאונת-דרכים בכביש חיפה-עכו בשעת מילוי תפקידו ביום כ"א באב תש"ח (26.8.1948). הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית- הקברות הצבאי בנהריה.
