בן שרה ושלום, נולד בשנת 1927 בסמרקנד שברוסיה ועלה עם הוריו ארצה בשנת 1935. לאחר שלמד בבית-ספר עממי, החל לעבוד במוסך, תחילה כשוליה ואחר-כך כבעל-מלאכה מומחה. היה בעל מרץ, רצון וכשרון. בכור-חיים היה חבר בהסתדרות "הנוער העובד" מנעוריו ופעיל בשורותיה. הוא היה חבר ה"הגנה" זמן רב לפני מלחמת-העצמאות. עם פרוץ מלחמת-העצמאות צורף לחטיבת "קריתי" ועמה לחם בכיבוש בית-דגון ויאזור. כן השתתף במבצע "נחשון" לפריצת הדרך לירושלים. ביום ד' בסיוון תש"ח (11.6.1948), שעות מעטות לפני כניסתה לתוקף של ההפוגה הראשונה, נפל בשעת התקפה של כוח ערבי שעלה פי כמה על מספר לוחמינו בצריפין. הוא הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בנחלת יצחק.
