בן רבקה וחיים, נולד בשנת 1928 בטבריה. בפרוץ מלחמת-העצמאות התגייס, שירת בחטיבת "גבעתי" ובחיל השריון ובשורותיהם לחם בכמה קרבות. בליל 2-3 ביוני 1948, במסגרת מבצע "פלשת", תקפו כוחות "גבעתי" את המערך המצרי ליד גשר אשדוד (גשר "עד הלום" כיום). ההסתערות נבלמה באש כבדה של האויב והכוחות נאלצו לסגת. ההתקפה נכשלה אמנם, אך אילצה את המצרים להיערך במקום ובלמה את התקדמותם צפונה. בקרב זה נפל, ביום כ"ז באייר תש"ח (5.6.1948). הובא למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בכפר ורבורג. הותיר אחריו אישה ושני ילדים, הורים 2 אחים ו - 5 אחיות.
