Turai Haim Rozenbaum served in the Israel Defense Forces. Haim served with the Infantry. Haim served in the War of Independence. Haim was 26 years old.
בן לאה ואברהם, נולד ביום ב' באב תרפ"ב (27.7.1922) בעיר נאג' ווארנא שבמחוז טורדא, הונגריה. הוא למד בחדר ובישיבה ועזר להוריו ולאחיו והיה אדוק בדתו, אדם צנוע ושקט. בשנת 1942 גויס על-ידי הצבא ההונגרי לעבודת-כפייה. כעבור שנתיים שוחרר על- ידי הסובייטים ובשנת 1946 הגיע לריכוז של שארית הפליטה שהוקם בברגן-בלזן, גרמניה. יחד עם אחיו הצעיר העפיל ארצה באוניית-המעפילים "שבתי לוזינסקי". מחופי הארץ גורש לקפריסין ורק באוגוסט 1948 הורשה לעלות ארצה. מקצועו היה בנאי. עם בואו לארץ התגייס מיד לצה"ל ונפל בשעת מילוי תפקידו ב"דרך בורמה" בין ירושלים לתל-אביב ביום י"ד בתשרי תש"ח (17.10.1948) ונקבר בשייח'-באדר א'. ביום י"ז באלול תש"י (30.8.1950) הועבר למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בהר- הרצל בירושלים.
