בן זוהרה ומאיר, נולד בשנת 1923 בעיר מקנס, במרוקו וביום 15.7.1935 עלה ארצה והתיישב עם משפחתו בירושלים. בשעות לפני-הצהרים למד בבית-ספר יסודי ובשעות אחר-הצהריים עבד כדי לעזור בפרנסת המשפחה. הוא הצטרף לתנועת "הנוער העובד" ואחרי סיום בית-הספר היסודי יצא להכשרה של תנועתו בגבעת חיים. אחרי שנתיים חזר הביתה להיות לעזר להוריו. מיכאל עבד בבית-דפוס והוסיף להשתלם בשיעורי-ערב, אך לא יכול לשאת עוד את האווירה העירונית. הוא יצא לעבוד בנהלל ומשם היה תומך בהוריו. במלחמת-העולם השנייה נענה לצו המוסדות, התגייס לצבא הבריטי ושירת בו שנה ומחצה, עד ששוחרר מחמת מחלה. לאחר שחרורו נתקבל כחבר בקואופרטיב "הכורך" ובשעות הפנאי השתתף באימוני ה"הגנה". במלחמת-העצמאות שירת בחטיבת ירושלים ועמד בהגנת פרברי העיר, עד שנפל בקרב על רמת רחל אור ליום י"ז באייר תש"ח (26.5.1948). נקבר בשייח'-באדר א' בירושלים. ביום כ"ח באלול תש"י (10.9.1950) הועבר למנוחת-עולמים בבית-הקברות הצבאי בהר- הרצל בירושלים.
