Centipede 128

PUBLIC DOMAINBugsoft

A C128 board sold by Bugsoft, put in the public domain by its author in 2000.

The story

Centipede was a board for the Commodore 128 in its own 128 mode, written by Adam Fanello and sold commercially by Bugsoft. Using the 128's extra memory and 80-column screen, it was one of the boards that showed what the 128 could do that a 64 could not.

Fanello put Centipede in the public domain on 28 February 2000, source and all. Sysops kept it alive after that, with a free package and fixes up to 2005, and boards on our list still run it.
