Blue Board
COMMERCIALMartin Sikes
A fast C64 board in pure machine code, written in Vancouver and sold around the world.
The story
Blue Board was written by Martin Sikes of Vancouver for his own board, Blue Hell, in 6510 machine code. Being all machine code made it quick, and it was sold to sysops around the world and copied far more than it was bought. It was at its height in the late 1980s.
Sikes died in 2007. Blue Board was never released for free, so it stays off our shelf.
