The story
The Teacher's PET was a PET 2001 with its own badge, made for a promotion to American schools around 1979 and 1980: a school that bought two PETs received a third free. The machine inside is the standard PET of the time; the badge and the offer are what make it collectable. The promotion helped put the PET into classrooms across the United States, where it was many students' first computer.
