The story

The CDTV-CR, also called the CDTV-II, was the cost-reduced CDTV Commodore worked on in 1992 and 1993. It was cheaper to build than the original and added a floppy drive in the case, which the first CDTV had lacked. Commodore dropped it in favour of the games-focused CD32, so it never reached the shops; only a small run of prototypes was made.
