Call other boards from your browser with PETSCIITerm
Members dial any listed board from the web with the right screen for it; visitors get two tries per board.
PETSCIITerm is our own terminal program, and it lives in your browser. Pick a board on the BBS list, press Call, and you hear it dial. The board comes up the way it was meant to look: PETSCII in 40 columns, or ANSI in 80.
Who Can Call
Members can call any board on the list. Visitors who aren't signed in get two calls to each board every thirty days to try it out; a few boards are for members only.
The Dock
Beside the screen sits the dock: hang up, the speed you call at, the sound, your saved logins and more. Each button shows as an icon or as a word, whichever you like.
Manners
We call other sysops' boards as guests in their house. PETSCIITerm paces its calls so no board gets hammered, and if a board says it doesn't want our calls, we leave it alone.
