Our BBS list rings every board, every morning
More than 120 boards, each dialled at 5:23 every morning, so you know which ones still answer.
The BBS list on petscii.nw is not a list copied from somewhere and left to go stale. Every morning at 5:23 Eastern our own line dials every board on it and writes down what happened: who answered, who didn't, and what kind of screen came back, PETSCII, ANSI or plain text.
What You See
Each board has a row with its address and a copy button, its sysop, its software and its town, with a dot on the map. Boards that answered in the last two days come first. Our own board is pinned at the top.
Add A Board
Members can put a board forward; the sysop checks it and lists it. Boards that only live on the web have their own section, Boards in your browser.
Still Answering
The list holds more than a hundred and twenty boards today, running on Commodores, Amigas and PCs around the world. Somebody is still answering the phone.
