Landry Shamet returning to Knicks on four-year, $24 million contract as champs try to run it back

Shamet is planning on signing a four-year, $24 million deal to remain with the Knicks, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect The deal was hammered out on Monday, according to the report, and keeps Shamet in the Big Apple after being a key part of the first Knicks squad to win an NBA championship in 53 years.

Shamet averaged 9.3 points per game during the regular season and 6.0 points per game during the playoffs, while shooting 45.3 percent from the field and 47.5 percent from 3-point range.
