3 seriously injured after minibus mounts pavement in Hong Kong

Police received a report around 5.48pm that a minibus travelling along Argyle Street had mounted the pavement outside Kowloon City Court, injuring 20 people.

The force said three people were seriously injured. Online photos show some of the injured sitting on the steps of the building waiting for help.

The minibus’s crumpled front section was wedged into a concrete planter box.

At least five ambulances and fire trucks were deployed to the scene.
