Add The New York Post on Google A pedophile dragged a 13-year-old girl into a Bronx park, where he raped her, police said Saturday.
The girl was approached by the stranger on the BX9 bus and said something inappropriate to her before she got off the bus at Broadway and West 261st Street in North Riverdale around 10 p.m. Thursday, police sources said.
He then followed her off the bus, grabbed her by the sweater and dragged her into a wooded area inside Van Cortlandt Park, according to cops.

Rape is up 5% in the city to 1,006 from 957 so far this year compared to the same period last year, according to NYPD data.
The crime has doubled in the 50th Precinct where the park is located to 22 rapes so far this year over 10 in the same period last year, the data shows.
At the same time, major crime overall has dropped 9% in the precinct that serves a portion of northern Queens, including downtown Flushing, East Flushing, College Point and Whitestone, according to the data.
