Turkey also hosts a highly sensitive Nato early-warning radar system at Kurecik base in the central Malatya province that can detect Iranian missile launches
The footage was shot near the Incirlik airbase for Turkey’s independent Anka news agency as Israel and the US began striking Iran, which retaliated with missile barrages against Gulf states hosting US bases, and against Israel.
The Turkish base, which has hosted US troops for decades, is a key Nato facility which lies about 10 kilometres (six miles) from the southern city of Adana.
The footage was shot by Koza TV which was contracted to supply broadcast footage to Anka.
Among those arrested were Anka editor-in-chief Kenan Sener, Koza TV reporter Sergen Olcer and Koza TV general manager Mehlika Bilen, TGS said, denouncing the move as “unacceptable”.
