Add The New York Post on Google In the early Friday window of World Cup matches, France has a meaningful game against Norway if it wants to win Group I.

Les Bleus are looking to win all three group-stage games for the first time since their 1998 title run and the second time in their World Cup history.

The French came in as one of the best teams in the world, and they’ve lived up to that billing thus far as they are -160 favorites to win the match on the three-way moneyline.

France needs only a tie to win the group on goal differential, while Norway needs a win. It’s a tough ask for the Vikings, as they come in as +310 underdogs.

Interestingly, FanDuel has draw at +410, by far the highest line on the betting market.

Still, France will want to win this match, considering the historical outcomes.

Kylian Mbappe and France take on Norway on Friday. FIFA via Getty Images The Kylian Mbappé-led group has tons of movement from its right backs, led by Theo Hernández and Jules Koundé, which will give Norway serious trouble on defense.

The Vikings have a solid offense led by striker Erling Haaland, and they love pushing the pace in transition and finishing ahead of trailing defenders that are left in the dust.

I’ll take a draw at big odds and the French to win the group as a result.
