Why both “Typewriter” Joe Girardi and “Pinstripe Pride” Michael Kay seemed amused by Chisholm’s dull-witted, indiscreet and proudly defiant unprofessionalism is sad, as wisdom-blessed viewers were shaking their heads in disgusted disbelief.
What, after all, would the Yankees team announcers’ reaction have been had Chisholm been wearing the uniform of, say, the Astros or Guardians?
