Add The New York Post on Google The preliminary findings from an autopsy of a South Carolina personal trainer who was found dead after vanishing has been revealed.
Elena Moore’s autopsy “did not identify an immediate cause of death,” the Lexington County Coroner’s Office announced Monday.
“Examination of the body revealed no evidence of traumatic injury, including no bruising, lacerations, gunshot wounds, stab wounds, blunt force trauma, strangulation, or other external injuries,” the statement read.

The 39-year-old trainer was last seen leaving a Planet Fitness in Lexington — about 14 miles outside Columbia — and heading toward a wooded area behind a nearby Lowe’s Home Improvement store at 9:17 p.m. June 11, the Lexington Police Department said.
Moore, who worked at Wolf’s Fitness Center, was wearing an olive green zip-up hoodie and black athletic pants when she left the gym, according to surveillance footage.
The coroner confirmed that a body, found Wednesday, was positively identified as Moore, and that an autopsy was scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday.
“Please note that determining a final cause and manner of death is a thorough process that may take several days or weeks to complete,” Lexington County Coroner’s Office wrote.
