Stephen Yang for New York Post While everyone was still basking in the present, Knicks owner James Dolan was really the only one to look ahead to the future.

“We’re gonna keep working to bring you even better basketball,” Dolan said at City Hall during the Knicks championship parade Thursday. “Although it’s hard to imagine that we get much better than this. But we will, right fellas?”

That vision could be complicated by his own sentiment, though.

One day prior to the parade, Dolan suggested that he might not be willing to do what would likely be necessary to either run this same roster back or improve on it.
