It was in the fourth quarter of the Knicks’ Game 5 victory over the Spurs.

Brunson was matched up one-on-one with Victor Wembanyama, the Spurs’ 7-foot-4 defensive menace and the league’s first-ever unanimous Defensive Player of the Year.

Rather than set up Wembanyama for a jumper, Brunson took him inside, ignoring the 14-inch difference between the two.
