In the first quarter of Saturday night’s NBA Finals contest, Knicks forward Jeremy Sochan was seen trash-talking and bumping into Wembanyama during an early timeout.
Both teams were heading back toward their benches when Sochan walked out and bumped into Wembanyama.
The Spurs star didn’t look very fazed, as he kept walking back to the rest of his Spurs teammates with his hands on his hips.
Sochan knows Wembanyama quite well, as the two spent over two years together in San Antonio before the former joined the Knicks in February.
Before the Finals, Sochan even shared internal knowledge he had of Wembanyama.
“Whether I’m playing or not, it’s important to feed all the information I have,” Sochan told The Post’s Jared Schwartz.
“Being that tall [Wembanyama] gets tired,” Sochan said. “Give him different looks and [not beat him up but] be very physical, and make him run. And he’s gonna get tired, he’s gonna have to take some plays off in my opinion.”
