Hilary Duff keeps wearing this ‘effortlessly polished’ foundation-concealer hybrid

Hilary Duff recently released her first studio album in nearly a decade -- and wore a full face of Stila makeup on the cover. AP; Call Her Daddy/Youtube Hilary Duff’s minimalist makeup is what dreams are made of.

With the release of her first album in nearly a decade, the star’s having a major moment right now — and she’s keeping Stila Stay All Day Foundation & Concealer on hand through it all.

For her “Luck … or Something” album cover, her makeup artist, Kelsey Deenihan, created a “raw, radiant and effortlessly feminine” look using the hybrid product.

“We wanted to create a look that felt fresh and effortlessly polished,” she said in a press release, explaining that she used the Stila staple for “perfecting” Duff’s complexion.

The water-resistant formula is designed to do double duty as both foundation and concealer, for a look that lasts up to 12 hours.

Deenihan applied it in thin layers to keep the singer’s skin “looking natural and radiant,” before “using the built-in concealer to brighten under the eyes and refine any areas that needed a little extra attention.”

She reached for the top-rated beauty buy again weeks later, for Duff’s interview on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast.

“We wanted to stay comfortable and polished while keeping the overall look relaxed, fresh, and very Hilary,” she explained in a separate press release.

Both looks also included a full face of other Stila formulas, including Convertible Color Dual Lip & Cheek Cream, Liqua-Play Eyeshadow and Magnum XXX Mascara for “a natural fullness in the lashes.”

Duff’s a longtime Stila fan; she wore the brand’s Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in Kitten for her baby shower in 2018, per Refinery29, in addition to name-dropping it in a 2020 Vogue “Beauty Secrets” video.

While she’s embarking on a new chapter in her career, it seems her makeup staples are staying the same.
