Zoë Kravitz shares her unfiltered take on injectables: ‘Whether you get Botox or not, you’re going to age’

Add Page Six on Google 5 Zoë Kravitz covers British Vogue’s July issue. Mikael Jansson/ British Vogue Zoë Kravitz is a British Vogue cover girl — and she’s getting philosophical about aging.

In an interview with the publication, she shares, “I really want to work on elevating or evolving my inner self,” rather than being pre-occupied with her outward appearance.

“If I spend all this time now mad that I don’t look the way I want to look, it’s like you’re wasting it,” she continued after she had declared, “I think that I’m hyper-aware of the fact that I’m going to die one day.”

While she didn’t address whether or not she sees Botox or cosmetic surgery in her future, she does wax poetic about the aging process.

“Whether you get Botox or not, you’re going to age. You’re going to look different in some way,” adding, “If you don’t do the work internally to prepare yourself for the fact that life is going to happen to you, then that’s going to be the hardest part.”

Kravitz is not the only celebrity speaking out against the fight against time.

Kate Winslet has stated “it’s f—king chaos out there,” in reference to the idea of “chasing an idea of perfection to get more likes on Instagram.”

Kourtney Kardashian, on the other hand, has sworn off Botox completely, sharing her reason is “keep [her] third eye open.”

There are, of course, others on the opposite end of the spectrum, like Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner, who recently underwent a full facelift and told Vogue Arabia “I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy.”

Kravitz, meanwhile, isn’t a stranger to needles. She showed off plenty of body ink in the British Vogue spread — including a new tattoo that matches one fiancé Harry Styles recently added to his collection.
