3 injured in Hong Kong after wild boar wanders into residential area

Two men and one woman suffer leg injuries, but it is unclear whether boar wounded them

Police said they received multiple reports of sightings of the wild boar at Wu Ka Sha station and the Lake Silver housing complex at 5.08pm.

The force said two men and one woman aged 45 to 87 suffered leg injuries, but it was unclear whether the boar wounded them.

They were taken to Prince of Wales Hospital in Sha Tin for treatment.

Authorities later found the wild boar in the car park of Silver Lake, but the animal fled in the direction of Lee On Estate.
