Schoolgirl arrested after three hurt in knife attack

She was arrested earlier after three people suffered knife injuries at the Co-op Academy on Plant Hill Road in Blackley, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.

Emergency services remain on scene and the force said officers are supporting the school.

There is not believed to be any wider threat to the pupils and staff at the school, GMP added.
