The late “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star attended the “Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves” UK premiere on March 23, 2023.

He was 72.

His daughters confirmed the sad news in a statement, revealing the actor “passed away peacefully” of complications due to pneumonia.

“It has been, and forever will be, an honour and a privilege to be his daughters, and to have witnessed firsthand the impact both he and his work have had on so many,” the statement continued in part.

“We know how dearly he will be missed by friends, colleagues, and fans of the shows he was in – he loved his job very much, and he always considered himself incredibly lucky, to have been able to work alongside such exceptionally talented people, in such wonderful productions, across a career that spanned several decades.”

The siblings said their “grief is far greater than the hole he has left behind,” but know their dad’s “legacy will live on” thanks to the popular TV shows he was in.

They also asked for their privacy to be “respected at this difficult time” at the end of their statement.
