@joshsorokach Published Feb. 26, 2026, 4:30 p.m. ET More On: Luke Thompson ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Episode 5 Recap: Beings From Opposing Worlds Stream It Or Skip It: ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Part 2 on Netflix, Where Benedict and Sophie’s Forbidden Fairy Tale Gets Its Happy Ending ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Has a Very Important End Credits Scene That Teases Who Stars In Season 5: “We Are Starting Production Very Soon,” Showrunner Jess Brownell Confirms ‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Part 2 Has a Unique Problem: Too Many Bridgertons It’s been quite the week for Netflix. Not only did the streamer recently drop Taylor Tomlinson’s new stand-up special and the penultimate episode of the newest installment of Love Is Blind, but the final four episodes of Bridgerton Season 4 finally dropped on the platform!

We’ll keep this article spoiler-free, but fans will want to stick around after the credits roll on Season 4, Episode 8 (“Dance in the Country”) for a “very important end credits scene that teases who stars in Season 5.”

Romance! Sex! Revenge! There’s never a dull moment when there are new episodes of Bridgerton to binge, but fans always have an eye towards the future. When can we expect the fifth season of Bridgerton to drop on Netflix? Will there be a Season 6?

You bet! Back in May 2025, we learned that our favorite Regency romance was renewed for Seasons 5 and 6!

For the answer to that question, I turn this article over to Decider’s resident Bridgerton expert, Meghan O’Keefe.

“Showrunner Jess Brownell has already confirmed [Seasons 5 and 6] will tell Eloise’s (Claudia Jessie) and Francesca’s (Hannah Dodd) stories,” O’Keefe writes. “However, she’s been mum on what order they’ll come out. The Bridgerton Season 4 end credits scene teases just this, with the family asking which sister will walk down the aisle next.”

“You’ll learn really soon [who stars in Bridgerton Season 5],” Brownell told Decider.

There’s no official release date for Season 5, but production is reportedly set to begin in March 2026. The third season of Bridgerton concluded in June 2024, with Season 4 debuting in late January 2026.

Based on the show’s history, we expect the fifth season to debut on Netflix in late 2027.

You can purchase Netflix for $7.99/month. Ad-free monthly options are also available for $17.99 (Standard plan) or $24.99 (Premium option).
