The hit Peacock dating series is back for Season 8, with host Ariana Madix and narrator Iain Stirling leading a new group of sexy Islanders through their journeys to finding love.
Fans were thrilled to find out the cast last week, which includes a Paralympic champion, the daughter of an NBA player, and the brother of Season 7 star Charlie Georgiou. But it wasn’t long until scandal struck the villa — and the Islanders hadn’t even started yet! Vasana Montgomery, who was slated to join this season along with 11 other Islanders, was removed from the show over her past use of a racial slur in videos that surfaced after the cast announcement had been made. The ordeal mirrored two similar situations from Season 7, in which both Yulissa Escobar and Cierra Ortega were kicked to the curb (practically overnight) over resurfaced videos of them using racial slurs.
With the drama already starting, Love Island USA promises another season of entertaining chaos, and unexpected love connections — and for us viewers at home, it’s going to consume our lives for the next month and some change. Love Island USA films and airs in real time for six weeks. With six episodes airing every week, seasons typically consist about 36 episodes in total. That said, the Season 8 finale will likely air sometime in the week of July 12.
Love Island USA will air new episodes every day at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Peacock for its first week. Starting the week of June 7, episodes will air every day except for Wednesdays.
