How To Watch the ‘Scrubs’ Revival: Release Date, Time, Livestream

No, I know, I’m no Superman. Welcome back Scrubs fans, it’s been a minute, hasn’t it? 15 years after the show about three young doctors at Sacred Heart Hospital went off the air, Dr. John Dorian. (Zach Braff), Dr. Elliot Reid (Sarah Chalke), and Dr. Christopher Turk (Donald Faison) are back and better than ever– although no wiser than they were the first time around.

While fans wait with bated breath to find out if the new iteration will live up to the original – which aired from 2001 to 2010 and also starred John C. McGinley and Judy Reyes – many are eagerly rewatching episodes from the first nine seasons. One thing Scrubs was always good for (and hopefully still will be) is giving audience members a laugh and a swift gut punch in the same scene and we’re soon to find out if that is the case.

Will we be laughing like we did a decade and a half ago? Will we find out what ever happened with Carla (Reyes) and Turk? Are any other cast members from the original going to grace our screens in these first nine episodes that ABC has greenlit? We might be getting ahead of ourselves. Let’s start with the basics.

Looking to find out when you can watch the brand new episodes of a TV comedy classic, we’ve got you covered. Here’s everything you need to know in order to tune in live to the revival on ABC or on Hulu.

The first two episodes of the Scrubs revival premiere on ABC on Wednesday, February 25.

Not only are you getting two episodes of Scrubs on Wednesday, they will air back-to-back on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.

All you have to do in order to tune in live is turn to ABC at 8 p.m. local and grab your bucket of popcorn! If you don’t have cable, Sling TV is one of our favorite live TV options.

ABC is part of two different Sling TV streaming plans, including the affordable Select plan. Sling Select starts at just $19.99/month for 14 live channels, plus DVR and three simultaneous streams included.

While Wednesday will be the day for you to watch Scrubs if you’re a cable holder, if you only have a Hulu subscription, you can tune in at 12 a.m. PT on Thursdays to watch the episodes.

If you’re new to Hulu, you can get started with a 30-day free trial on the streamer’s basic (with ads) plan. After the trial period, you’ll pay $10.99/month. If you want to upgrade to Hulu ad-free, it costs $18.99/month.

In total, the Scrubs revival consists of nine new episodes. The episodes air Wednesdays through April.

“J.D. and Turk scrub in together for the first time in a long time: Medicine has changed; interns have changed; but their bromance has stood the test of time,” a synopsis reads.
