Head coach Jason Kidd is being removed from his post, the team announced.
Dallas said it will “immediately begin a comprehensive search for its next head coach.”

Even with Rookie of the Year winner Cooper Flagg, Dallas finished with a 26-56 record in 2025-26.
The move comes months after the team fired former general manager Nico Harrison, who was the architect behind the controversial Luka Doncic trade.
